PLC data transmition (on top of Wi-Fi to optimize audio signal)
#1
Hi,

I have a two silver Phantoms and dialog which is connected on apple last generation time capsule.

After the last update I found out in the Spark app that one from the Phantoms it is connected to the
Dialog through PLC and the other phantom on wifi 2,4 GHz? There is no difference in the sound quality .

How to change this future? What is exactly PLC???

PLC means Power Line Communication. Your Dialog uses the most stable signal to communicate with the Phantoms. Seems like one Phantom gets the best signal through wifi and the other one through PLC.
Living room: Sigberg Audio Manta/10D subs, MiniDSP SHD.
Den: Tannoy Precision 8 iDP/TS112 iDP sub, MiniDSP SHD Studio.
In the cupboard: Some bits and pieces of a Phantom Silver 1. gen.
