Wrapping does seem like a great alternative to painting! I'm interested in wrapping the sides of my Reactor (not the driver). Seems like I would need to remove the side panels to tuck the wrap behind for clean edges.
Does anyone know of any videos or threads about removing the side panels of a Reactor?
The silver/gold side panels? At least the silvery ones come off really easily if one pushes gently on the pointed parts closest to the woofers.

Given what Devialet is saying about the phantoms that there is no way to open them and reassemble them together, I would advise you against trying to open them.
That would be a one way operation in my humble opinion.

Paint the front ring too, it comes off and goes back on without any risk of damaging the unit whatsoever. It’s a magnetic object.
