Phantom 5.1 Home Cinema Draft
#11
Saw this setup at the White City store - looked very tidy. They were just tweaking it but said it'd be ready for demo soon.

It's early days, but it's not that bad - especially for a version 1.0. It has one very unique selling point in that it's incredibly power efficient so very little heat output and takes up very little space indeed considering the volume and bass output. Can certainly imagine those in apartments with little space but a fair bit of money will be tempted by this.

Just to clarify: while the Phantom are efficient compared to old Class-A room heaters, the Phantom are far less efficient than most large speakers and any modern Class-D amp or hybrid like Devialet's ADH. Trying to get all that sound out of a small box requires greater power input. The Phantom save space, but to save power and heat go for Devialet Expert amplification of high-efficiency large speakers.
