The IPad app is much snappier. Both the local and streaming service album or artist list refresh fast as it used to be in the 1.1.4 app version. So we slowly get back there where we were before + better setup. This is a good base for continuing to give to users a powerfull control software. Now we need some more improvements such that SPARK becomes a serious media player for the Phantoms:
- large media libraries need aphabetic direct access not only through search and scrolling that does not get past 'a'
- playlists with reference to local files, not only those imported from itunes (any playlist format e.g. m3u)
- access to meta data information that are stored with files like genres, recording quality, etc
- gap-less play
And then extension to other services, upnp, airplay, parametric equalizer, more file formats, multi-speaker formats etc.
