Phantom and Devialet 200 as a phono preamp
#1
I try Phantom (with Dialog) and I'm very impressed of it sound and ergonomics

Bu, how I know for use Phantom and vinyl turntable needs digital connection
My turntable have not a digital output of course - but I have Devialet 200 with great (possible - the best in the world) phono corrector. It's a great match for my MC-cartridge (Lyra Kleos), etc

So, the question is - is this any way to use my turntable with Devialet 200 phono stage - and connect it to Dialog and Phantom?
I really want try Phantom on good vinyl setup Smile
Maybe USB works? Or I needs waiting for future Devialets firmware upgrades and compability?

Thanks!

I use my Thorens 124 with the phantoms via a analog to optical adaptor, it cost around 20 dollars.
Turntable to tube preamp, analog out to adaptor into phantoms - sounds splendid!

I'll think $20 analog to optical adaptor ADH algorithm is poor
So, is this any way to use good ADH algorithm via Devialet 200?

Your Devialet 200 has one digital Coax output as far as I know. It should be possible to connect your turntable via Devialet 200 to a Phantom with a simple digital Coax / Toslink (optical) converter and one wire for each connection type.
