Phantom has internal cache so audio continues with source turned off?

I am just setting up my Phantom as a single wireless connection.  (Can't set up the pair yet.)  Spark is buggy and I can't turn the audio which is a file on my android phone.  So I just turned off the phone.  And yet the phantom just kept going with the music.   This means Phantom must cache some audio on itself....or is it cached online somewhere?

Surprised and would love to know that is going on - as to where the cache is residing.

Hi MtnGuy,

Someone posted not so long ago, that the songs are transferred as a whole to each phantom box and not streamed. This would explain why the music keeps on playing although the source is not existing anymore.
