Phantom remote problem!!!
#1
Is there a way to disable the remote permantly?
Every time I have switched on the speaker I must open Spark and go to settings and open Bluetooth to disable the remote.
If Bluetooth is switched off the remote should also be switched off.
The speaker is visible when the remote is on.

Doesn't work.
Devialet changed the setting in Spark for the remote many years ago.
Check out from a tablet and the phantom is visible if the settings are not changed next time you switch on the speaker.

Are we talking of the Remote which looks like a cream jar? You can remove the battery in it.

Yes, the batteries have been removed.
It's a Spark or Phantom issue.
Even the Bluetooth is disabled the Remote is Enable by default.
Everyday I have to open the Settings and then have to Enable Bluetooth then choose the Remote and disable it and then disable Bluetooth.
These settings are not remembered by Spark next time the Phantom is switched on again.

I have tried to reset and in this process set the remote to disable, but it doesn't work.
The settings are the same after switch off and re-connecting.
It seems if you doesn't have a remote - the default will be remote enable.

Noooooo!!! Don’t do it.
You could replace a minor issue with several issues, or even a major issue.
You will lose Spark, if that’s relevant etc. etc.
