Question about silver "panel"

Noticed in some pics that the side metal panel is shiny silver, while in others it is a dull silver...was there a model change at some point as mine are dull and I'd prefer the shiny tbh. Huh

The White Phantom has chromed side panels and white woofers, the Silver has silver side panels and woofers. Never seen Silver with polished silver panels
