Old thread, but thought I would chime in. I'm using my 120 with the Trenner and Friedl Sun speakers. They are rated at 4 ohms and 82db. Honestly, no complaints. The speakers play exceptionally loud with no noticeable distortion. I'm sure more power would be even better, but given the price difference between the 120 and 220, I'm very happy! I don't feel any reason to upgrade or switch speakers.
