Simaudio Moon MiNDS - Help needed
#1
Hi guys,

I am facing some issues with my MiND 180 and Devialet 200.  Sad

Any help/ insights greatly appreciated!!

1) My MiND Controller app on iPAD keeps asking me to update - "A new version is available for your MiND. Please update". However, I have already update app to version 1.9. Also, I ave just updaed the firmware for the unit. When I click on 'Update', the app prompts 'error'. Note also that I have uninstalled and reinstalled app to no avail.

2) Tidal does not seem to work on MiND app - I can see it being connected - the 'Tidal Search' on top right search bar is live, as well as I can see all the tidal tabs. But when I click on a song or album, it does not play. Note that vTune radio feature works fine.

Thanks!  Cool

hi
I think this message relates to the software on the Moon itself (not the iPad)
You may find that to complete this upgrade you will need to follow the instructions for the device

http://www.simaudio.com/DATA/TEXTEDOC/Mi...-v1-01.pdf

essentially, power off the unit and disconnect it, ensure it is connected to your router using ethernet, restart it whilst holding in the "update" button on the back of the unit (you will need a pin)

It takes about 10 minutes or so to complete.

Interestingly once you have done this i found that future updates can be triggered from the iPad app rather than following the instructions attached.

Once you have done this, you will find that Tidal is then present in the iPad control app

hope this helps
