Yeah, I saw it as well.  I'm more inclined to think it's part of a targeted marketing effort than to truly find out what we think of Devialet and it's products.
Devialet 440 Pro (two 220s)- Oracle CD transport - Kuzma Stabi S/Stogi S turntable - Von Schweikert VR-35 speakers - JPS SC3 SCs - PI Audio power conditioning -

I took the survey. I have had Phantom Golds first addition. When they work, I love them, but they are SO finicky. In my family I am the only one that uses them because no one else has the patience to find the missing speaker. As such, I am very reluctant to ever recommend it anyone. That said, I did indicate ai would be interested in the leasing program if it ever comes to fruition.

I had original Golds for many years. Running WiFi off a SoTA WiFi access point 3m line-of-sight from both. If I ever ”lost” one I’ve repressed it, so it can’t have happened more than once the odd occasion, but playback would frequently stutter and cut out via Roon RAAT (my preferred protocol). Particularly annoying since Spotify Connect worked pretty much flawlessly so it looked for all the world to be a software (I.e. soluble) problem.

In the end I sold them (told the buyer, but he was happy as he was going to used them wired) and bought a pair of Ultimate 108dBs.

Just wanted to let you know I’m very happy. About six months in I have had no problems at all. The Ultimates have been rock solid and sound great. I would love Devialet to implement Qobuz Connect but many years of Devialet ownership have taught me to temper my hopes in the software department.

So in case you should ever consider updating to Ultimates, based on my experience at least, the connectivity issues appear to be a thing of the past.
