Is anyone using a UPS (uninterruptible power supply) unit for their Devialet unit?
I was thinking of getting one to protect my Devialet 200 & sources against spikes, surges, brownouts, etc. but some people have suggested that it may limit the power of an amp.

My whole hifi syste is driven off 6x 200ah batteries , charged via mains and solar and a 5kva pure sine wave ups..mainly cos of power generation problems and rolling blackouts/brownouts etc ... i drive my devialet and 4 x 1kw class D amps subs as well as other devices
A 1.5-2kva DECENT inverter and 2 x 200ah batts would be overkill , even for an 800 system...
Should cost you around $600-1000 to implement
HOWEVER, I have noticed there is no discernable SQ change tween using the inverter and mains only power supple
