ive got some time to play this week, so i might re-try the power conditioner leave it in for a few hours and see if anything improves.

Mine is the same - just older. I wouldn't plug in amp into filtered digital/analog outlet but my Boulder 865 or Simaudio W5 or Bryston 4 BSST2 certainly did not feel choked at all. I like the fact that Furman recreates balanced power unlike 0-120V it is -60 - +60. No amp hums, no tweeter noise etc. I just don't know which outlet to use with Devialet as it is both digital and amp. Experimenting is in order.
