Stereo setup
#1
What is the ideal stereo setup in a typical listening room?

Was thinking about distance from backward, apart, toe in and hight of stands.

Your ears are the best judge but go with the tweeters about 87% less wide than the listening distance to start with. Set the tweeters up at ear height and point them to just outside your head so they 'cross' about half to 1 meter behind you. Keep them half a meter from the wall behind them.

This is a generic starting point, NOT the ultimate. From there on you make small 1 inch adjustments wider, narrower, more or less toe in. Take at least a day or so to let every new setting sink in. Don't rush it. Try not to go for a huge soundstage. Sometimes it sounds much more musical when you set up a bit narrower. Less soundstage but much warmer.

Good luck!
