I am thinking of buying an Esoteric F07 to replace my Le 200 in my main system. This big hunk of an integrated amplifier (with DAC board) is a very good sounding monster. I am happy with my Devialet but there are many things about the F07 that appeal to me more. I need to incorporate it into my system and audition it before making a final decision.
Both devices appeal to me because they are based on a single unit chassis, have excellent sound and are gorgeous (although very different) in appearance. My main system is rather simplistic and I don't need some of the additional features the Devialet offers (internet, WiFi, etc.).
I'll post my thoughts on the differences between the amps and my final decision. This may take some time but...
