Placing some cork mats on top of the window of the 250 Pro / 1000 Pro makes the highs and bass sound cleaner. Got these Ikea HEAT square-shaped cork mats which look less weird than the round shaped ones.

I found that if I completely cover the window with a Weetabix, the highs are light and crisp and the lows are deep and crunchy.
