Elbow - The Take Off and Landing of Everything (CD rip).
I haven the album on vinyl, but I've never played the CD I ripped.

Actually it is a "Big Fat Lie", I didn't really listen to it honest, well ok then maybe just one track. It just popped up on Qobuz and I thought 'why not' Angel

Well, for me I've just dug an old box of 12" vinyl from the garage from my old dj'ing days, first one out is Frankie goes to Hollywood, two tribes. This is what it is all about. The worries of white noise, dual mono Configurator, dodgy £500 crystal cable have gone. In fact, I'm yet to get any white noise from 80's vinyl? Oddly enough, sounds quite magnificent, almost rich to sub bass and orchestral. Not bad for very thin not 180g vinyl. And very nostalgic....

Eddye, how's the Led Zep IV re-issue sounding? I've had my eye on that...

Can't compare it to the original, but it sounds excellent to me.
