Today have been listening to BBC4's (TV) rerun series "Top of the Pops 1979", medium; recorded on a Humax tellybox thing. The program appears to be recorded on not very good 70's spec video tape, not remastered in any way at all, with sound transmitted via highly compressed mp3, with a far too long optical cable to the Dev. Sound quality is sub-optimal. Quite good fun though, enjoyed Gary Numan's "Are friends Electric?" (no, they are not, by the way), also enjoyed David "Kid" Jenson announcing that ELO's new album "Out of the Blue" is out next week. (Horary!)

Must get back to the sofa..... Legs and Co are coming on.......

The Nits! Haven't listened to them for ages. Loved the music but always had a bit of a problem with the lead singer's voice. Bit harsh on the ears. Just out of interest because I'm looking at auditioning the 805's; how does he sound through them?

The leadsingers voice doesn't sound harsh (in tone) to me. It's not really a good singing voice, but it's passable and authentic. It's just a terrific album. Interesting music and good recording.
