I have found Focus Fidelity Filter Designer to be very easy to use, and it produces great results with only a little effort. It works very smoothly with Roon. (I don't have any affiliation with Focus Fidelity other than being a very happy customer.) If you want to try this out you will also need a calibrated microphone such as the MiniDSP UMIK-1.

2014 Mac Mini running Roon via Vodafone hub/Amazon basics ethernet cable into:
- Devialet 440 (RCA to ground lifted AES)
- Focal Sopra 2 (YYAudio Black Magic speaker cable)
- Rel S812 x 4 (std hi-level cables and £25 Van Damme Speakon array connects, Cruiser class £35 Chinese mains cables)
- no intentional room treatment.
