Which one for B&W 804/805 Diamond?
#11
I auditioned the Devialet 110 (back then it was still a 110) with B&W 805D's. The 110 had no trouble driving the 805D's. The listening room at the dealers was also about 35m2. I bought the 170 because the 110 didn't have enough connections, but the 110 performed very well, even when playing loud. That was before the power and SAM upgrade.

I'd still recomend listening to both the Gato's and the Devialet if at all possible. Best even to audit them at your new home, if the dealer is willing to do that.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm also considering the connections that I may need...
I also need to be patient, as you said the opporunity to compare is mandatory, and it may take time.
May be I will crack under pressure before Wink

Some new feedbacks from D120 users ?

I'm waiting from my dealer the opportunity to hear D120/D200 with 805d as I did with the GT1s. This is not 100% sure, I cross my fingers.

Now the bad news is my wife wants.... white speakers... Huh like the Dali Epicon 2 (not sure I will ever be able to hear D120/200 with Dali speaker).

It's really difficult to hear many speakers with the Devialet in my region, the only dealer is not a Hifi specialist, and the Hifi specialists have no Devialet !
