Which streamer?
#1
It’s difficult for me to have the possibility of comparing them; I hope someone in the forum knows them. I’m talking about the Auralic G1.1 and the Aurender N100 connected to Devialet Expert Pro.
Which one sounds better? Which one has the best app?
Thanks

I do not have any experience with Aurender, but i do have an Auralic Vega G2. Solid hardware, nice app, good user forum. They listen to what the users say ;-) Regular updates for the app and the firmware of the streamer.
An Aries would be a better choice of course, but i already had the Vega G2.

Try to find a shop where you can compare. Or where you can loan one for a few days, to try at home.

Depending on the price point / budget you are willing to invest there are a number of great products: iFi ZEN Stream, Holo Audio Red (oustanding - and can be cost free tweaked by optimized OS versions from HQPlayer, RoopieXL etc or via fuse upgrade which made a really impressive difference) or the LUMIN U2 Mini with an external power supply like Farad Super3.

@markush
Lumin granted no warranty by using power supply from external brand

I was thinking also to the Luminò U2 mini, but the Aurender and the Auralic have a linear power supply already inside and they can have a SSD inside to store my files. I think both are good machines but I'm always concerned about the app's operation; I'm also using Qobuz, so a good  integration with the app is for me fundamental

We (our audio club) compared a Lumin U2 (not the mini) and an Aurender N150. There was no discernable difference. The Lumin is more expensive but has balanced digital out. No difference between USB and balanced

The Lumin U2 is connected directly to AC power, so you cannot use an external PSU

I owned an Aurender x100L (the sound quality is the same as N100). Very nice device.
I compared it to the Auralic Aries G2. To my ears there was no improvement going from Aurender to G2.
The Aurender app is a very nice and has good Qobuz integration. I never had any issues.
