Win8 Tablet Solved everything
#1
I'm so dumb. After experimenting with all kind of options to stream to Devialet, it just dawned on me that I could simply use my Win8 Tablet to AIR to Devialet.

My tablet is a Toshiba W8 with 2GB RAM. And it only costs less than RMB2000 (~USD325). I have all the software solution such as Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, QQ, Tunein, JRiver, etc.

I'm accessing Spotify using the same router via wifi and at the same time AIR to D200, no problem.

Sounds good but I assume you don't have an iPad nor an android tablet, right?

I have iPad. But Win8 Tablet is better. More music software options. With Win8 I can use a lot of Chinese cloud music services. And, one of them, QQ music, can stream Flac Lossless music. Equivalent to Deezer Elite and Tidal Hifi, at much lower price.

More than 4 hours of playback via AIR from my tablet, no issue whatsoever.

Hi,
I'm brand new and just got a Dev 200.
I am trying to figure out the whole Devialet AIR wifi.

I like your idea of streaming wifi direct from the Windows 8 Tablet or even and Ipad. Is their an advantage to one or the other? I will use Pandora, Tidal and possibly Rhapsody. I also have a library of my own music too.

Do I just download the Dev Air for the Windows 8 tablet?
How would I run the streaming on an Ipad if I don't keep my music files on the Ipad?  I use music services and want to stream those too - can I do that on an Ipad?

I currently have Devialet AIR downloaded on my windows 8 desktop in the other room but don't want to run back and forth.  Looking for a portable solution or portable control.

Any help is appreciated to get me sorted out.
Thanks,
Bill

Can I stream music services directly from an Ipad or Android Tablet - such as Pandora or TIDAL?
