Thanks HK.  For the record, I switched back to 2.1.3 on Sunday morning.  I think I played 16/44 material for something between 2 & 3 hours on Sunday, AIR worked perfectly.  With 2.1.4beta-4 there was much stuttering Saturday.  So 2.1.3 with Windows 10 does look promising, time will tell though, AIR issues appear to manifest themselves very randomly, I can think of times I have had many hours stutter free with 2.1.4beta4, so time will tell with back 2.1.3.  Oddly enough, I did try going back to 2.1.3 when running Windows 8.1 and got lots of stuttering, this is why I haven't bothered trying with Windows 10.  Maybe this will prove to be stable, I'm ever the optimist!

Since setting up the very same i.e. W10 and Air 2.1.3 I have had no white noise, stuttering or any other AIR style problems for 3 months - hope yours goes as well.

I gave up on Windows 10 and AIR.
No more white noise with Windows 10, but random reboots of my computer frustrated me just as much.
There's a 5 meter USB cable now in my living room though, but I can live with that.

Sorry to hear that!
Here's a topic with a screenshot and some tips that didn't fix it for me though, but maybe it's helpful for you.
Good luck!

OK, if your Win10 system keeps rebooting, please check if your Windows Update is set to auto update. If it is, please turn it off. Check if you have the latest update being done recently. If yes, please uninstall them, especially Flash Player update. Flash Player is one of the updates that I have found to cause my Win10 rebooting consistently.

Haven't had a reboot anymore since I've switched to USB.
So I blame AIR.
Done with it after 6 months of tweaking, reinstalls & promises from Devialet and my dealer.

Yes, AIR is indeed very finicky. Once properly setup to work, AIR gives us the convenience and free of interconnects. Of course, USB is the easy way out, but we will be tempted to add USB enhancement add-ons which cost more money and clutter our hifi space.

I'll try again when they release AIR v3.
Or maybe Roon at some point.
But for now I'm happy with USB. Finally enjoying music again.
Happy though that you got it running: I really loved the AIR SQ.
That's why I've tried so hard for so long.

Yeah, I agreed with you, enjoying music should be our priority and not tweaking our system to work. Sometimes, I am scared that I will be blasted with white noises when my volume is set to high. And, I hope Devialet will work on v3 and/or be RoonReady.
