This tweak is for anyone using a Windows PC as a streamer. There is a new free open-source utility called "CPU Set Setter", which lets you assign various processes on Windows to specific CPU cores. It uses Window's CPU Set functionality, which is slightly different from setting the CPU Affinity.
If you have an Intel CPU for example, you can force all the Windows OS and Browser processes to run on the E-cores only and leave the P-cores free for your audio applications or games. This is what I am doing, and it works great!
Especially important is to keep the first core free (Core 0 and Core 1 with Hyperthreading) as those cores usually serve the IRQ for the xHCI USB controller. I'm assuming most PC streamers will use a USB DDC for the audio output.
