phantom Golds disconnect during movie watching

don't know it others have experienced anything similar. during Ready Player One action scene. a moment accented with heavy bass disconnected the left speaker then another bass hit soon after disconnected the right speaker. volume was at around 70%. it didn't shut off, only disconnected. i was able to re-connect (airplay) right after but it was an annoyance.

anyone had any similar experience?

I had the same problem. Sometimes i had a pof sound and they where shut down. then i restared them and they worked again. unfortunatly this have killed 4 of my phantoms. in 1.5 years, so i got 4 replacements. i hope you have better luck
