recommended Nas for phantom

hi there
my external hdd died on me yesterday and now i need to find a replacement.
Thinking of a nas, would that work? is it hard to set up? Qnap? Readynas?

think that one could be a really good alternative for me!
Hope that it gonna support Phantom soon also
