turntable for phantom
#1
hi everbody, i have two phantoms and always want to enjoy the  turntable,  but doubt if phantoms are able to show the best sound of the LP.
any one of you guys have tried it  already? please help me with it.
Recently i got the information that TEAC TN 570, a new model that has a optical output that can connect to phantom directly without the a-d adaptor, wonder if my dream will come true?

Another possible TT in the shape of the following

True, it's a TT converter, rather than player, but the conversion is to the current in vogue format of DSD.

Many posters on this forum have talked about this so please do a search. There are many happy people.

If you are purist who believes the output of a turntable should be analogue from beginning to end, then of course using a pair of Phantoms is sacrilegious.

I am a purist so my turntable is connected to a different system, that is high-end and totally devoid of digital intervention. It all depends on how transparent you believe that A->D->A conversion can be.
