From the plug type and location of the Macbook inlets, that was a good old USB connection.
So nothing new there, we have been able to encode from analogue inputs via USB for a long time now.

Devialet have done some recordings using a D in the signal path. Could it be that they are getting into remastering now? Remastered for Devialet, like mastered for iTunes but better.
I'm thinking turntable but wishing for mini phantoms for home theatre

old tape record - using D for rip (like devialet sound experience) - product new Devialet vinyl for sale. Only one growing medium in the market.
Didn't someone mention a turntable setup at the infamous 'Versailles' day?
