Was that it?!
I'm sure it's nice if you're interested in that sort of thing. But hardly seems worth going all 'Apple' in hyping it on Facebook!

I have always believed the concept of recording was based on the fact that you might want to listen to a piece of music more than once. So this hype and probably mystic initiative must have a price and I can't wait to see the tag on the sleeve. For those who prefers a discount alternative to the lacquer experience, I suggest cd recycling after the first listening session. I do hope philistine are still tolerated on this thread .

As usual no price. God only knows what they will be charging for this nonsense. Devialet seem to be promoting one upmanship with all their latest offerings appealing to that select few who don't have to worry about the cost.
They would be better concentrating their efforts on making their current line of products work properly.

Do we want to have a poll on the amount of hours they dedicated to this 'project' and not to...eehm, where to begin...the promised Q/A customer web site?
No, actually I don't want to know

I have to say that if I was in Devialet's management team, I would have these lovely new masters produced as 24bit FLAC files, or maybe even DSD, and send a free copy to all Phantom and Expert owners. This would be a kind of Christmas present and also as an apology for bugs in Spark, issues with AIR, the Od'A debacle, and so on. It baffles me why this is a vinyl release, mindful that Devialet products are pretty much optimised for PCM Digital music.
