Did you get a response from Devialet? It seems their support doesn’t reply email sometimes.

Sorry for warming up that cold thread: I am right now in the upgrade process of one pair of Devialet Expert 400->440 and one D-Premier->250Pro CI:

For the 250 Pro CI I would like to get a new remote (old one is nearly dead, also after the upgrade) and for the 400 I sent the money, but there is no communication.

I have the feeling, that neither phone or mail is appropriate to contact Devialet: I cannot reach anybody by any channel.
Is the company in some kind of trouble? If so, I would maybe not do the pending upgrade.

The company is in good shape, maybe too much.
The problem must be the restrictive measures adopted in France due to the current pandemic.. and the Devialet usual delay to answer their clients.
Stay calm, everything will be solved, probably, and at this stage, with a little more time consumption.

In another thread you say that you got the D-Premier->250 Pro CI back from Devialet? So you are waiting for the 440? I'm sure it will arrive...

In another thread you say that you got the D-Premier->250 Pro CI back from Devialet? So you are waiting for the 440? I'm sure it will arrive...

Yes: the upgraded 250 pro has a pretty used, sporadically not working remote. I would have liked to buy a new one for - unsuccessfully. I will give it to a third party service tomorrow morning to have it serviced. The steel case will go for refurbishment to a metal specialist. So no problem.

For the 440 I just sent the money last week. The 400 are waiting in our basement for a pickup or a message concerning next steps.

The 250 pro I thought of having it as a companion for a new 250 pro ci (to get the 1000)... but somehow it is a old d premier case and I did not get a price for a case upgrade. I am now searching for an old d-premiere to upgrade.

Concerning customer care:
It is all about communication.

Better not send your Devialets in to be upgraded. It might very well be a long time before you receive them back...
I do not think you have to worry.

A friend of mine just received his D250 Pro before Christmas after upgrade. The upgrade took a little bit longer than usual because of the corona situation but his D250 were back within 2 weeks.

Same thing regarding support of my Gemini’s - I received answer within 24 hours from the support.

My upgrade of the d premier to 250 needed something like 4 weeks: I will give it a try, as I have a second amp as replacement.
Before Christmas, I actually got feedback, that there would be a pickup on or after the 4th of January!!
Maybe you can ping them also about firmware update/bugfixing. Hopefully Sweet Room gets fixed in time
