RE: roon basic setup - eladeb - 06-Jan-2021 So basically I'm using raat. What the deference from the upcoming certified? RE: roon basic setup - ragwo - 06-Jan-2021 With RAAT directly to the Phantom you can get rid of the Pi and control the volume of the Phantoms in Roon. Here's a screenshot of the signal path with the Phantom RAAT beta software. Unfortunately not taken by me. RE: roon basic setup - eladeb - 06-Jan-2021 @ragwo There should be any deference in quality With the pi and direct raat? And does raat support stream on the air protocol. Like enhanced upnp and keep the sound quality. RE: roon basic setup - ragwo - 07-Jan-2021 (06-Jan-2021, 23:20)eladeb Wrote: @ragwo Sorry, I have no idea how it will sound. Roon includes built-in support for the Devialet AIR protocol according to the Roon support database. https://help.roonlabs.com/portal/en/kb/articles/devialet-air RE: roon basic setup - DesertEagleAZ - 07-Jan-2021 I could be wrong, but I think RAAT supposedly has the advantage of giving the clock to the device itself, something that resides with the HAT if you use a RPi solution. I'm hopeful it will come when the next Roon update drops. RE: roon basic setup - eladeb - 17-Jan-2021 we will have to wait and see (: |
