You need to hold the remote upside down on top of one of the Phantoms to pair. I believe it is the inversion of the remote that puts it into pairing mode. If you didn't do this it may be the issue.

Overhere DOS 2, latest update en my 3 remotes I, no problem at all.

About Latency :
Normal mode : 190ms but can be optimised at 60ms stable with ethernet/router
Direct optical mode : 4 ms (i've measured yesterday with a RTA/REW on my new Devialet Phantom I 103 dB)
Arch mode : Digital to ethernet (not wifi) on Devialet Network? latency ?
