It seems a bit of a damp squib if it's just static configuration option.  I assumed it meant that the board would dynamically use both wireless bands to provide multiple redundant routes for streaming (analogous to how the Phantoms can use Ethernet, wireless or power-line networks).  But I admit I'm reading a lot into what Guillaume reported.

I agree, a little flexibility on wifi settings isn't much to write home about! I assume there is much more to come though, given Mathieu's language when describing this.

Guillaume

Mathieu's language being French; would you care to give us English speakers a run down on what he said? I tried to find it with Google translate but no luck.

I think I already did Pim. He told me that the new OS board would represent a much bigger evolutionary jump than that between Expert and PRO.

Here's hoping for Roon Server on board. Or the Devialet equivalent.

Guillaume - can you comment (even broadly) on this statement " I assume there is much more to come though, given Mathieu's language when describing this."?

What are you expecting? I have given up hope for Roon integration (not sure why all the mfg want to develop their own). Thanks.
