CLassical SONO vs DEVIALET PHANTOM for DJING - ofrappier - 27-Feb-2020 Hi, With optical input, 60ms in DOS2 in stereo (but only stable with an ETHERNET cable between left/right that take priority to the WIFI/CPL soluce after reboot, 60 ms is not STABLE with WIFI or cpl), is better than 190ms or more in AIRPLAY But for D'JING 60ms, is to high Hope that optical direct mode at 1ms will be back in DOS2 as in previous DOS 1.... (To use Phantom as monitor or DJING) : Here comparaison of SPL/cost soluce, between classical SONO system and Devialet products : GOOD classical system SONO (RCF or YAMAHA) de 40Hz à 17000 H (à -6dB) z, avec caisson de basse : (2X1400E, 2X1000 = 4400 euros) SPL 120dB (sans distort. pour 130dBmax - 130-10 = 120) / 1m 114dB / 2m 108dB / 4m 102dB / 8m 96dB / 16m 90dB / 32m 84dB / 64m DEVIALET GOLD phantom de 20 Hz à 20000 Hz (à -2dB) : (2600E X2 + 2X300 euros de PIEDS soit 5800 euros) SPL 108dB / 1m 102dB / 2m 96dB / 4m 90dB / 8m 84dB / 16m 78dB / 32m 72dB / 64m DEVIALET Classic phantom de 20 Hz à 20000 Hz (à -2dB) : (1800E X2 + 2X300 euros de PIEDS soit 4200 euros ) SPL 103dB / 1m 97dB / 2m 91dB / 4m 85dB / 8m 79dB / 16m 73dB / 32m 67dB / 64m DEVIALET Reactor 900W phantom de 25 Hz à 20000 Hz (à -1dB) : (1300E X2 + 2X150 euros de PIEDS soit 2900 euros) SPL 98dB / 1m 92dB / 2m 86dB / 4m 80dB / 8m 74dB / 16m 68dB / 32m 62dB / 64m DEVIALET Reactor 600W phantom de 25 Hz à 20000 Hz (à -1dB) : (1000E X2 + 2X150 euros de PIEDS soit 2300 euros) SPL 95dB / 1m 89dB / 2m 83dB / 4m 77dB / 8m 71dB / 16m 65dB / 32m 59dB / 64m RE: CLassical SONO vs DEVIALET PHANTOM for DJING - booshtukka - 27-Feb-2020 There’s no doubt that these speakers are not useful for live performance. I never saw the 1ms of latency. I hope that comes back if true. RE: CLassical SONO vs DEVIALET PHANTOM for DJING - booshtukka - 27-Feb-2020 Annoying that that thread doesn't show you what the actual latency is with direct optical mode. It can't be 0ms. So what is it? CLassical SONO vs DEVIALET PHANTOM for DJING - Moooch - 27-Feb-2020 There are Dante Phatom reactors which would allow super low latency. Djing with these would be much better than normal phantoms for sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk RE: CLassical SONO vs DEVIALET PHANTOM for DJING - booshtukka - 27-Feb-2020 Devialet confirmed to me over Twitter that the Custom Reactors with Dante still have 60ms of latency. This would not be acceptable for performance DJing. RE: CLassical SONO vs DEVIALET PHANTOM for DJING - booshtukka - 28-Feb-2020 Wow. Okay. Thanks for confirming. Do you think it would be the same for the Custom Reactors? |
