RE: HDMI to USB audio extractor - experiences?! - alandbush - 22-Nov-2021 In an earlier post, I mentioned a modded Oppo BD player that enables the extraction of digital audio from an HDMI input signal. I occasionally think what would I do if the BD player stopped working, as there is no obvious replacement. Well, idly browsing the web shop, who supplied the BD player, I surprisingly discovered that there is a potential replacement. A stand-alone component from the manufacturers of the modded board. Check out the Audiopraise VanityPRO for lots more detail. It is certainly better than the KanexPro device that I suggested and a lot more effort focused on audio quality, especially jitter. I was curious about the price. Not cheap!!! https://www.oppostore.nl/en/vanitypro/ |
