I've been having a pair of Silver Phantoms almost since their launch. I haven't used them almost at all, as I have a baby and also live in a block of apartments with neighbors with lack of taste in my music
Even so I had quite shocked to find a crack in one of the speakers. The warranty ended long time ago. Any chance for a replacement from Devialet?
Cracking Phantoms was a problem with some of the first batches. How old are your Silvers?

Thanks, I saw it as well. However it was solved during the warranty period. For me, it's going to be an interesting discussion with the customer support.

Good luck! Hopefully they'll be understanding. Please keep us updated.

I have an old phantom Classic with a small crack on the top. 2 years ago I contacted Devialet Cs in order to check if the problem could be covered by any warranty. I bought it as a used Phantom and the owner told it was an early defect due to overheating of early units.
Devialet replied that the only solution was to send it back and they offered a replace (not for free). After some calculation I decided to keep my cracked one. It was not worth it. My crack is less visible than yours and not interfering with the sound quality.
Today with the exchange program active by Devialet you might consider that. But I doubt you could go for it because you’d need to change two of them. Quite expensive indeed if you’re not a “heavy listener”.
