Was at the same audio dealer this morning where I went in April. He had done the firmware update
It connected to a new Samsung TV first go (using the ARC socket) but not a 2018 model. No-one knows why. I suspect it is something to do with the handshake, as a satellite TV receiver would connect to the older Samsung, but several buttons (channel up/down, favourites) stopped working
Must say the sound was really good. I'm not a music watcher, but film dialogue was much improved
