Optical Direct Stereo Splitting
#1
Dear all,

I own a pair of Silvers from 2015, which are working perfectly. I just wonder if I could boost the sound quality by using optical direct mode. This might get me 192/24, even if no one knows for sure. :-)
Still there is on issue that bothers me. If I use an optical splitter to wire the output to each phantom, both get the identical signal. What about stereo? How can I split the right signal to the right phantom and the left one to the left phantom. Or am I just overthinking it?

Cheers, Jens.

In the web UI in optical direct mode you can choose left, right or l+r for each speaker.
Living room: Sigberg Audio Manta/10D subs, MiniDSP SHD.
Den: Tannoy Precision 8 iDP/TS112 iDP sub, MiniDSP SHD Studio.
In the cupboard: Some bits and pieces of a Phantom Silver 1. gen.

Thanks for the quick answer. That solves the problem.
