Stupid question - but how to get 96Khz on Phamtom II?

What setup will actually deliver and play 96Khz on Phamtom II? I understand they down to 48 when set up in a stereo pair but a single stand alone speaker on Ethernet should accept 96 no?

Regardless mono or stereo, the speaker will downsample the signal.

That confuses me as the speaker specs are listed as “Devialet DAC embedded in Devialet Intelligence Processor / 24bits / 96kHz” on their website.

Hey Peter, that means it will take that as an INPUT.  The internals or the signal chain is not really described anywhere at a signal level so it's mostly speculation about what is actually going on between the input and the speaker before it hits your ears. happy listening!
