Gary, very interesting info. I see mention of Dante and AES67 in your photo. Can you please translate? Is it Phantom that does AEA67 or the controller?

@squarewaveltd prepared a six month new plan in Hong Kong - Immersive Theater System ITS
The first cooperation with the French Devialet "Immersive Theater System ITS" 5.5 system officially opened in Hong Kong. The ITS system can be set to 4.4. / 5.5 / 7.7 or more channels to match the space requirements. Each Gold Phantom is dive to 14Hz independent subwoofer. (* 5 Gold Phantom equal 20 ordinary Phantom's energy)
Devialet professional DSP controller can adjust each Phantom volume / EQ / Phase / Delay / Up / mix / Subwoofer to make the whole system all digital (Gold Phantom built-in MagicWire decoding and patented ADH 4500w zoom) to eliminate the traditional analog analog wiring and speakers Wiring effects.
Full digital system can also support AVB, Dante, AES67 network audio transmission. DSP controller in addition to control4 / AMX remote control, but also by our design App directly with the phone, flat touch. Need very little space, very suitable for Hong Kong's environmental needs.
France Devialet factory will provide professional engineers for local system settings and adjustment services, the entire Devialet ITS5.5 system with the original set of measurement App control, priced at less than 200,000 Hong Kong dollars. #squarewavehifi #devialet

Not very clear on this from the descriptions. I will try to find out more from the dealer directly and update accordingly.

We've seen this before I think, not much in the way of details then either.

What happened to Devialet's promise of surround sound via Dialog? Not much as things have turned out.

Thanks! I am not into MCH. I don't even have a TV in the house, but the AES67 protocol (or the newer AES70) is interesting.
I see from your signature that you have 'simplified' by using the LS50W. How does it sound when broken in?

The dealer wasn't sure how the AES67 really works yet and awaiting for Devialet's training to them.
The KEF LS50W sounded really good. Very detailed, great separation and bass is firm and good (of course, can never goes to the same level as with SAM). In my current situation, it has been providing me with great music experience. My relocation from Shanghai to Malaysia takes longer time than I expected for me and family to settle down everything. And was encountering more changes than expected. Wife initially didn't want to live in Malaysia, so I bought a condo. Then, after seeing the great living environment my daughter and I are enjoying, she decided to join us, too. So, before my renovation work is completed on my condo, we have to start looking for a house now. But, it will be settled and then, I can start looking for a more 'permanent' (I wonder if this will happen ) hifi system.

Interesting video but since I don't understand a word, what are the essential takeaways?
Especially interesting to see the multichannel iPad app. Is there anything said about that?
