Mike Westbrook's Citadel / Room 315... a classic British Jazz album with the unique John Surman. Tender Love and Outgoing Song, both featuring Surman are just fantastic pieces of music.

Thanks, I will do!

I've been working my way through Richard Wagner : Der Ring des Nibelungen, Sir Georg Solti but its difficult to find time when I can concentrate for long enough to really get into it. I may have to save it for evenings when everyone else is out.

I am doing the same - streaming via Qobuz - the remastered version has improved the sound. I have also ordered the blu ray audio disc.

For those looking for something Christmasy I would recommend Jazzy Christmas - Live in Sassari, Paolo Fresu quintet. A bit corny but beautifully produced.
