I'm in the middle of a move to a new place and my system is all packed in its original cartoons, so no serious listening for me these days.

However last night I watched "Whiplash" the movie! Awesome movie with FANTASTIC jazz music and play

My favorite tracks are Whiplash and Caravan

All jazz fans should give it a go

Steve Beresford: Avril brisé.
That's the soundtrack to a film and a sonically strong contemporary jazz piece. I listen to it on vinyl pressing from 1987.

Icelandic folk, if that's a helpful description!  My first listen - I like her other albums very much so have high hopes for this one too.

Glad you enjoyed it.  "Fisherman's Woman" is also excellent.
