Nice!  In the UK we (mostly) have to pay the fee after it leaving customs otherwise it gets held at the depot.  As mine's been stuck on 'clearing customs' a few days now, that probably means the inevitable letter arriving to tell me I need to pay before they'll deliver.  Why they can't let you know on the tracking system or by email so you can just pay straight away I'm not sure... Still, its surely only a few days away....

By that time I should know if its going to be totally redundant due to AIR3  Dodgy

My microRendu arrived yesterday to Stockholm so one day in Postnord custom before it cleard is ok I think. Hopefully I will not be charged tax and custom.

I dont want to have a computer on just to listen to music so AIR3 is not something I care so much about right now. I will use Bubble upnp control app wich works really good with Tidal. Perhaps I will change to ROON in the future and run that on a NAS or get a sonicTransport.

Hi all,

So Baddog is THE man who already received his µRendu and reported Smile

Any other enthusiastic report to share before the second production batch is sold out ?
Any comparison with computer -> USB -> Mutec -> Devialet ?
Does Mutec add any value between µRendu and the Devialet ?

For those with the Melco, I am wondering if adding the uRendu in the chain makes any difference.

So, is

Melco > ethernet > uRendu > USB > Devialet / USB DAC

better than

Melco > USB > Devialet / USB DAC?

At least a few of us who would love to post some reports on it!
Sadly, it's sitting in a dingy warehouse at Heathrow under 24hr armed guard..... Angry

Never start challenging customs' officers is a good starting point, I agree. But can be frustrating I understand Wink

My microRendu will arrive at the Postoffice today, hopefully I will get it connected later this evening and have some first impressions.
Today I use a Chromecast and before that I had a Aries but sold that to move on to something else and the Chromecast was a cheap thing to get under that time.

I will use a 1m long Cabledyne Silver USB to connect it and a 9V iFi powersupply, a Paul Hynes PSU for all my network stuff and microRendu is high on my to get list.
