I've used ADCs to make a 5.0 HT with Phantoms and an Onkyo PR-SC5507 preamplifier. It works well.
First, thanks for the reply.
Second, are you using the Phantoms in “direct mode?” The last time I tried to integrate the Phantoms into an analogue system (having purchased 2 ADCs) predates my knowing anything about the Phantom direct mode, in which case I may be able to avoid the Arch.
Finally, the preamp does have adjustments for latency, so maybe it would work.
