Can the Phantom Premier Classic 1200w do Direct Optical Mode?

Before purchasing, I was wondering whether they are able to do Direct Optical Mode?

Are the speakers in question at DOS1 or DOS2?

If DOS1, it may be difficult to set Direct Optical mode because the required app is no longer supported.

If DOS2, then as ragwo has stated, you are good to go.

They both will be brand-new in box I think, so probably DOS1

can both speakers be upgraded to DOS2 yourselves or would I need to contact Devialet support?
