Sorry for your troubles. You should get some high quality ADCs, the cheap ones are terrible. The RME ADI-2 FS AD/DA is a good choice with a low noise floor, but they're quite expensive, and you'll need three of them. The Phantom's will not go into standby mode if the background noise is too high, get rid of the background noise and I believe your problems are sorted.
