Expert Pro Turns On Unexpectedly

Thanks to everyone who has taken the time to reply.

I do not use Roon. I will turn off my WiFi and see if this solves the problem. Will the Expert Pro Remote, which I believe uses RF, be affected by this? I'm pretty sure my iPad app with not work with the WiFi off.
