I am looking for something like the Auralic Aries which can convert DSD to PCM on the fly and output it to the AES-EBU connection. The Aries cannot. I don't believe the Bryston BDP-2 can either. My Lumin can, but that's overkill.
Are there any other top notch player options for connecting into the AES/EBU of the Devialet?
Has anyone tested the totaldac server to see if indeed it can convert DSD to PCM on the fly on output it to the AES/EBU connection?
