If the particular speaker is not connected in stereo this problem does not occur. Have tried resetting, reconnecting, remaking the stereo pair, etc.
Has anyone else had this issue? Just very strange that by itself this doesn't happen, but when in stereo it does.
I second that mate, as LAN has so far been my problem every time too. May I suggest ensuring WIFI has a clean signal with little error causing signal repeat, congestion etc... which affects the GOLD/Dialog system it seems. What I believe is that with signal is not clean, the errors cause the Dialog for instance to loose buffering and drop connection... May Devialet tech correct me if I am wrong. There is efficiency in their algorithm and it does what it can to cope with less than perfect LAN bit transfer. So when we have sh.t load of packet repeat eventually Dialog loses data and ... drop outs occur. I don't think there is anything DEVIALET can do about it. My LAN HAS to be a tad complicated due to infrastructure constraints but if I could just have a dedicated smart switch I would...But it would only drop bad packets at best. Now would that affect LAN data transfer speed? Probably. In the mean time, one can make sure that:
1 - Signal is clean when using Wi-Fi, if you need fast internet use 5Ghz but ensure clear line of sight between points. 5Ghz is very vulnerable to signal loss caused by doors, walls etc. If you need faster than 40Mbps that is... If not use 2.4Ghz its way more tolerant.
2 - Restart those devices regularly as they tend to clog up a bit and the signal may become a tad less than perfect causing packet retransmit issues...
3- Between Wi-Fi points you don't make those devices search for each other, dedicate channels! Also use also your phone Wi-Fi probing app to show you the less congested channels too... it does help.
I do this maybe 3 or 4 times a year and all works good again after wards. Now what would help is some error detection DEVIALET app could tell us about... or maybe via the web DEVIALET (DIALOG) config page? Just a suggestion.
