Hi, I have a 2016/2017 gloss white 103db Phantom 1 and I've been having exactly the same issues as the original poster.
The result being that I have been dealing with Jean-Baptiste at Devialet and he says my speaker needs an internal repair at Devialet, for about NZ$1200/EU600, which they are asking me to pay now. However, he told me that "our repair capacity is currently limited and we are temporarily unable to process this repair immediately, we will place your request on hold and contact you as soon as our repair operations resume in the coming weeks."
Then in another email: "I can put your repair case on hold and keep you informed once you are back as I do not have any confirmed date for the repair procedure resumption." Meaning they want paying now, without any guide as to when (if at all) they will be able to repair.
Given Devialet's financial situation over the last year, I am very reluctant to send money or to send my Phantom for repair, in case they fold and I don't get it back. This has happened to me before with another company!
Any ideas - has anyone had the same response recently regarding a repair or otherwise. Thanks in advance
